That is what is suggested by Planet Eclipse and Nicky T also says that is the stuff to use. Vaseline on Regs, 3 in 1 on bolt and rammer

How large is the kit going to be ? (size of box) roughly ?

If it is a kit that would fit snugly into a gear bag I might be interested as i could cut down on the 6 metric tonnes of spares and tools i currently lug around with me !!!!

Obviously the good news hasn't got this far west. My only concern was the lack of silicon, and presence of carbon, in 3in1 oil. This may give a slight bit of trouble to the precious little rubber thingies in the ego...........but of course i could be talking a load of bo##ox.
