i want to see 15bps ramping at the masters i think it will level the playing field. rather than some teams dominating by fire power it will just be down to the skill of the players. the marshalls can then spend more time looking for players who have been shot ;)rather than guns which have a little bounce

Take away the skill of being able to fire faster than your opponent why?
It's taken a lot of practice to learn how to do that
I assume you believe that formula one should be raced in identical cars.
If you ain't got the skill, ramping ain't going to help you
The guys that can fire fast also knows how to play the game so more likely than not you will still lose out to them.

i see your point it would turn it into formula ford where all the drivers have the same cars and engine's boring to watch but very close racing down to driving not just power

Great event, great day, marshalling was spot-on with some very gutsy calls being made and stuck to in the face of mucho shouting....thanks to all involved.

Ramping? Take it or leave it, and time will tell...like the idea of masters adopting ramping in Div A only, but haven't thought about the logistics yet....

(Oh and ramping isn't illegal by UK law...for the 1 shot, 1 pull law to apply, the gun has to be classed as a firearm, and paintball markers are specifically mentioned as not being classed as firearms except in certain specialised circumstances)

Unless of course (heaven forbid) there is a serious accident
Then you see watch how quick local & national press followed by PC Plod gets involved
You saw the bad press paintball got when a guy died on a site
and that wasn't even due to a paintball injury.

Had a great day,

thanks to all the teams we played, had great fun

Huge thanks to the fallen angels. another well run day, cant wait for the next one. Also thanks for letting us vote on the ramping issue.

thanks to the marshalls who tightly ran all the fields. especially field two. lots of gutsy decisions on that field. good to see.

Big thanks to Nik, came down all the way from scottyland to guest for us. it was great seeing you and playing with you again mate (the paintball was good fun too)

See you all at the next round.

oh yeah, ramping sucks a big fat one boooooooooooooooooooo:mad:

Not all change is good. If it aint broke dont fix it. There are loads of other ways to improve this game. Leveling the playing field isn't one of them. For sport to be truly sporting we must all be different and bring different things to a match. Shooting silly fast is an advantage your stripping away from people.

Imagine sticking lead in all front players trousers so that they cant run any faster than anyone else.

My tuppence worth anyway

like the publicity idea is that why your gat was doin 330's for the ramp game or you just got the desire to hurt stoney like the rest of us :D
