Health and safety statement:
Be cautious with electrical or any other form of planted pyro:
Think very carefully of how and where it will be planted, unlike throwing standard pyro the planted pyro is just waiting to go off. There is no control of when it detonates, and how close someone's hand or head is.
When planting have defined steps to set the pyro. It may seem obvious but people have been known to plant electrically triggered pyro with the arming switch on, thus detonating immediately on connection
Know where they are planted to come back to them
Assume they have not been detonated when you return
Have a defined procedure for disarming and dismantling
Consider that of not detonated then it may have failed - either the pyro or your device
Have a disposal method for failed pyro *
(Get your answers ready should you ever get asked questions why you have detonators)
Leave electrical and planted pyro to the sites and event organisers
* get the disposal details from the manufacturer, the box or the retailer
