With the hassle I've had with some ballers on here and the hassle with me NT and now losing out nearly £500
I've had it I've spent to many hours thinking and fighting over the hole balling part.
All I wanted was a nice marker to use and to be proud of and I've ended up with nothing but hassle.
Unless there is a very nice person out there wants to pass on a DM12 PURPLE then I would stay ;)
Thanks again everybody who has post on here.

Mate, there are c@%*s in every sport, and unfortunately, they sometimes commit awful acts like the one you have had to endure. You're not alone buddy; one of the Celtic Banshees girls had a marker stolen not long ago, and I was crapping my pants for the past week waiting for a gun to turn up via delivery.

It is a lush gun, lovely colour, and very distinct; I'm sure everyone on this thread will do what they can to help/look out for it, and the more we all raise awareness of it, and the problem as a whole, the more we can do to combat it.

I know guys who make 'secret' marks, or notes on the interiors of their DH MTB frames, and PB markers, and take dated photos or sign/countersign and date the notes they 'hide' the bike frames. May sound odd, but all of this goes towards helping identify their property if (god forbid) it is stolen. I worry about my climbing gear getting nicked too, so just try to mark it with my initials or have a dated photo of it or something (although admittedly PB gear is usually more expensive than climbing gear).

I totally know what you mean about a nice 'individual' marker to use, that one can be proud of- I'm in the same boat as you regarding that, but remember to be proud of yourself, the creature behind the marker...

After all, at the end of the day... the marker is just a tool, and it's nothing without the player

Don't worry too much, don't look back, stay in the game and you will be fine :D

I don't mean to be unhelpful but what's so bad about sending valuable parcels via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery?

Never ever had a single item lost when sent via this method.
Ive had a parcel lost using RM Specail delivery someone else signed for it!!! and i was the oly person home and i waied in all day??
it took over 6 weeks to get a refund for the goods and it was a right hassle getting that loads and loads of phone calls, letters to the sender and to royal mail, i had to get proof of purchase for the content but i brought second hand too, luckily i paid via paypal and they accepted a copy of the transaction as proof but it was a right hassle! so much for a specail service!!

At the end of the day I've paid for a service that I haven't got and nobody seems to give a ....
So I'm sorry if your losing a baller but I truly can't be asked to carry on with all the hassle that comes with paintballing

That's exactly what they want you to do mate; give up. Don't do it mate, keep on at them. Think of it like this: if I came to you and said 'ironhide, I'll pay you £500 to sort out this lost parcel for me' would you give up, hell I know I wouldn't! And that's pretty much what's at stake dude, keep giving them hell till it's sorted. Always take names and dates of calls etc (though you prob know this), ask the next person exactly what they need and get it sorted, then if they ask for anything else you prove that you have been told differently.

I don't normally reply to these threads as everything has usually been said but I feel for you mate, good luck and DO NOT GIVE UP

just like to add i used to use my hermes for my buisness eg. to post xbox consoles and ps3 console,
now i soon stopped after 1 parcel was damaged even though packed so well it surely couldn't get damaged they do there best and
to top it all off they left one parcel on a main road as the guy wasn't in to sign for it not even in his porch or in his garden on a main road behing
his bin, to anyone out there never ever ever use my hermes they employ workers and pay them very low wage so they have no dignity at all
they are cowboys from bad areas i would advise use city link all they way cheap and fast,
i hope you get this sorted dude they rip too many people off and im sick of hearing about there constant mistakes they should be shut down and never talked about again there apsulutley unacceptable,
but i hold hope for you and really hope you get your item back,
kind Regards,

Don't give up playing.

I don't have a DM12 to give you, but I do have a limited edition Nexus Ego. You can have that.

The offer is there, if you want it.

:)
