Last time I shot a pump was 1992 as a rental player, have had a couple go through my hands since then as trades to flip, but haven't ever properly 'owned' one.....until now. I had this delivered today.

Vertical Stock Class Phantom with .45 frame and 11" Freak-bored CCI barrel, om nom nom. :D

Just tried it in the back garden and it's scarily accurate - got about 20-25 full-power shots from a 12g (no chrono to hand, but felt about right). Absolutely love it - although might consider cutting the feed down to 12 balls to avoid smacking myself in the mask :)

Seriously considering a freak barrel for mine. Word of warning, if you normally hold the front reg while shooting its really easy to dump your 12 gram!

Canon Fodder Avon - I've just had an email exchange with Mike from CCI as I had one problem with the barrel - it was really difficult to get through the pump handle due to the o-rings and I managed to mangle one. Mike said that the dual o-ring freak-bored barrels are actually prototypes sent to Paintball Gateway for evaluation! The production model will have a single o-ring and the groove machined slightly deeper to avoid it fouling on the pump handle. Naughty PBG! :)
