I just got a very nice Lapco Grey Spirit circa 1991-ish the other day didn't look like it had been used for the last fifteen years or so and once i got it stripped down and got it cleaned up it was as good as new and shot like a charm..butter smooth pump stroke, just needs three of the frame & pump arm screws replacing with the original brass ones which i have got on order from Airsoldier over in the states and a bit of polishing up and its good to go...:)

Nice pick up Mike. I would leave the body as it is - worth more in original condition

Interested to hear you can get brass strip screws from Airsoldier - I need one for the pump arm on my Grey Ghost. Are you running yours on air or CO2? I tried mine on 12g but couldn't get a spring combo I was happy with.

More than i would have liked to,considering i have had to get new brass parts.

Just tried it on air but it ideally needs a spring kit as i couldn't get it above 180fps unless i start butchering the spring in the donkey which at the moment isn't an option.

Not sure whether to keep it at the moment as i have seen them priced up around £250+ over in the states.

Running an inlne reg would help dialed to around 600psi

The bottle pressure will be to high and holds the valve cupseal shut
