zero twizz :D but that is beside the point because i'm just going by what the rulebooks say and what i've watched and it doesn't sound like they're going beyond that. as you's have said the mills refs are pulling 141s for continuing to move across the field with hits which is in the rules? imo that's fair but it's also for everyone else to decide what they think of that
Well I am sorry but untill you have played them, then you can't really comment about rule books, they are over the top, simple as that, don't forget these Teams pay thousands to play and to run to a corner, as you diving, get tagged on the outside pot, a Ref see's this then waits to see if they fire there marker then 1-4-1 a player is stupid, you shouldn't have to call for a check when diving in case you got clipped!!!!!!!!!!

Whether the MS rules are fair or not is debatable and a matter of philosophy.

If you believe the rules should only penalise players that show intent, Twizz is absolutely right.

If you believe that shooting your gun and possibly eliminating opponents after being hit, should be penalised, irrespecitive of intent, then the rules are fair.

Personally, if I get eliminated by a guy who is already hit, I would greatly appreciate he receives a penalty, to balance that out.... and as the refs have no way to ascertain consistently when this occurs and routinely eliminate players getting hit by someone playing on, I like the rules to be on the side of the "victim" rather than the offender.

But, as said, it's all about philosophy, and as such difficult to reach a conclusion on.

Now, do some MS refs go completely overboard and eliminate players when they shouldn't, according to the rules? - ABSOLUTELY.... but that is not a rules issue, that is about them not being trained well enough, or having the wrong kind of personality for reffing.

While in no way intended as a criticism I'd like to point out the thread has veered off topic. While no doubt fascinating, I am not (for apparently less than obvious reasons) particularly interested in the opinions of non-participants or a general philosophic review of the referee's art--but thanks nonetheless.
