I suspect that Damage are a better funded team than Ironmen with CJ's backing and Joey's management, wasn't Oliver's reputed six figure sum for signing with Ironmen actually paid as wages as a DYE employee?
I'm sure that's spot on, and was also paid over something like 3 or 5 years as well.

New PSP rules inc no coaching (win!) and lower rates of fire over all divisions......
It seems to say semi only in Champs & Challengers, and 10.2bps ramp in all other divisions. So are we going back to trying to police cheat boards like we tried to 10 years ago?

Super interesting rule changes, any idea if these will be adopted in the millennium events in Europe?

I've just posted a thread on this didn't think of this one :D

It's going to be interesting how they stop the croud getting involved and will it go back to the old smacking the back of bottles to check for bounce?

They are saying boards have to be stock and straight from the manufacturer. Will be interesting to see how this is policed.

Cheater modes from yesteryear. Although I would expect pro players to hit 10bps with ease.

With sideline coaching, peticularly with crowd participation, do refs punish fans or teams?

I'm intrigued as to how they will enforce it. Unannounced field layouts I like - but how do you police semi-only? I have a Timmy from an old pro team and boy does it have some interesting little modes on it ;) Same goes for sideline coaching - does this mean I can get penalties for teams I don't like by shouting at them?

lots of people going Sssshhhh!! Like that's gonna work .Crowd participation is the price you pay for becoming a spectator/public interest sport .If your punters dont want to shout at the players ,that's when you have a problem .Lack of atmosphere is seen as a problem in main line sports. As Kevin says you will have people coaching they're opponents at the top of their voice. In the past ,knowing the field thoroughly has meant teams come prepared knowing the shots n moves and on field comms is probably enough. Now with no fields and no coaching ,it will turn it into more of a lottery than a skill test . F1 has 3 practice sessions ,cricketers net ,and all football teams warm up beforehand . The pro teams will still practice on the "typical " field .But if implemented lower down would hurt paintball fields .
