There is no frikkin way, you are just a peripheral observer to proceedings.....just too damn well informed.......just too damn intelligent.....just too damn insightful.........just too damn well written......damn if I hadn't discounted schizophrenia, I might have thought you were me ...... :)

But with hair (for the time being) and tattoo free. Now if you could bulk up a little and I could grow an inch or three we could be twins. :D
Seriously tho, I had a talk on this very topic with the next generation after he got home from Vegas and he had already heard a number of things on this topic.

PSP and NPPL are still negotiating !!

No it is not over yet. You would think that with the public statements done by Chuk that there is no room for a reconciliation. The truth is that, just as I am writting this post, Jerry is in the horn dealing with the situation.

We will see what happens from here. It appears that we are in the final stages of the negotiations and I have my money that PSP is been called on their last card and it is time to show their hand. The bluffing is over but the game is not.

I'm not actually aware of this story, but overall I suppose progress is the spawn of conflict..... maybe the split will be beneficial to the future of our sport..... (ie. competing to put on higher quality events?)

Is it just me or...

... is the paintball world really starting to turn in to the same thing as boxing.

What I mean is, soon we will have the Millennium - The PSP - The NPPL - and the WPS series, all with their own "champion".

Sounds like the numerous different boxing federations - Robbo help me out here - the WBA, WBF etc. etc.

Also add into this the fact that the winners of the World Cup are usually called the "World Champs" and this just adds to the confusion.

Would it not make more sense to begin consolidating some of the series now? What about the NPPL & Millennium joining into one and then arranging a "World Cup" of their own?

Just some thoughts.

Who sez they ain't!!!???!!!
But at very least Millennium boys would be most prudent holding off until they see how things are likely to shake out. Besides, right now most of the personal ties are with PSP, aren't they?

As to WC there's lots of names the NPPL can give their event and last time I looked there were lots of empty pastures in central Florida. How bout the NPPL Cup, the NPPL World Cup (after all, there are already enough world cups around that Jer can hardly claim any proprietary rights--try putting "world cup" in Yahoo and see what you get), the Players Cup or heaven forbid, the Robo Cup?

PS--Millennium guys can call their championship the Euro Cup, we can call ours the Dollar Cup and a true world championship can be billed as The Clash of the Currency. And if Don King or Bob Arum stepped in to take everybodies money then we'd be exactly like boxing.
