I think these chappies are talking about overall operating pressure not the ram operating pressure.
Don't ask me I'm not technically minded in any way :). They mean overall pressure coming through the reg then? :D

No mate...the air coming from teh reg is split up into two portions.
One of them drives the bolt/rammer etc and is governed by the LPR..the other bit is used to actualy shoot teh ball out of the barrel and is much higher than teh LPR pressure.

Yeh they mean input pressure from the inline reg (ie the pressure that will hit the ball itself), The newton kit has a balanced valve which means that it barely requires any force to open it, it means you can have a very low ram pressure, a shorter dwell and an extremely light rammer since very little inertia is needed to open the popet, the angel newton kit pwns the lucky kit for the ego, pwns it and then spits on it, and then stabs it in the eyes with a Hb pencil, and then goes round its mothers house and makes a bad smell in her porch.

The newton kit for the angel and the lucky kit do exactly the same thing. just slightly different in the way they work i have my ego bolt bouncing off my finger just like i did with the angel when we released the newton.

Aluminium rammer and delrin pull pin combined with the lucky valve is awesome.. oh and a lucky ego board and chip giving me the dwell controll.

Its not a matter of the preassure and volume used most guns waste air after the ball is upto speed the trick is to pick a nice preassure say 180 seems to be the best in my findings then making sure you can seal the gas supply off when firing giving a truly fixed volume this would increase accuracy, consistancy and efficency.. shame such a valve doesnt exist :D

yeh but with the angel kit you get everything you need to set up, whereas with the lucky valve you have to make a guesimation as to what cocking mass weight will work effectively and then fanny around to get the right weight. my mate has a lucky valve and has nothing but inconsistency with it if he alters the dwell or cocking and input pressures much and he has tried almost everything, he's even made a delrin rammer
also while they are both ballanced valves they balance in a different way and the newton kit method is much more effective.
If you've achieved success with yours give my mate strawb a message cus he hasnt been able to justify the extra maintainence with any significant gains from it yet.

I did contact him, also the lucky aa valve will be coming with a aluminium rammer as stock now so no guessing!! delrin is way too light for the rammer.

I will have the aluminium rammers back from anno beggining of next week i suggest he sends his gun into the factory and i will set it up for him.

the newton kit still requires setup to get it to run well. when designing it we wanted to give the player the ultimate setup but it seems someplayers just want install and go hence the new AA valve.

MQ-Valve ???
Yes i know it cannot be used in ego's but it does exist and provides a very precise amount of air on demand.

As for my lucky AAV, it now has a new home inside of a project marker

Thanks for the offer to set it up but i'm no longer shooting an ego as my primary marker so am much happier with the stock valves simplicity as i can grab it out of the gear bag at any time with the knowledge that it will work first time every time.

The mq doesnt delever fixed volume of air
it dumps for the requried amount of time it just allows you more precice timing..
