Well put it this way, if they can't even find an email address for Quake to let one of the teams supposedly playing the ProTour that things are changing I'll start mistaking it for the millenium series!
Having to find out stuff like this second hand through another team is not really good enough, and to be honest if I hadn't been online we'd still be in the dark!

Dear A.B. as much as I understand your post and the way you feel.
I think we need to give the guys involved a chance to solve the present issue.
No need yet to "make it public"! The only reason why I posted it on here is that I do not have all your emails and sure who is in charge of what team!
And if everything fails I vote that we go and burn Syd's house down!

Would just like to apologise to the peeps organising the Pro Tour, turns out they were given an ancient email address at some point and as such the email disappeared into the ether.
This coupled with not hearing a thing for months and then having to find out through a third party kinda sucked which caused the above response.
I hope we can sort something out so this oppurtunity doesn't disappear!
