Slg all the way, great starting platform to elctro markers.

But i would ditch the grav loader and get a fed electric so it will feed without you having to shake the gun every 2 secs

I started with a Tippmann 98c, anything is better than most site rental markers.
Soon realised the Tippy is a bit of a brick, bought a 2nd hand SLG; by comparison
a brilliant gun. Small, lighter, much easier to manoeuvre, very easy to strip down, lube & rebuild.
Having bought & used both, I'd recommend the SLG for practicallity.

I agree with funder and bdn, the slg is the way to go! If you got a tippy 98 you would play a few times feel you were out gunned and wish you had got the slg! That's what I did when I first started playing lol.
Go for a force loader tho not a grav fed!

If i was starting over again id go with :
2nd hand SLG £70 ish
new proto primo £12 i believe ?
and a steele 2nd hand £30

with that it would get you started mate, hope this helps

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the advice.

Come tomorrow, I should be the proud new owner of an SLG, thanks to Oneball...

It's been a great help, I was definitely going the way of the Tippmans, but after the advice here, I've decided on the SLG.

Now all I need are a few folks to play with!

I'll probably head over to Urban Jungle as soon as I get paid! ;)

See you there!
