Thanks guys, i'll definitely go for a new barrel and ASA with an on/off. I've considered virtue stuff before, but what do they each do? And the reason im thinking of upgrading it is simply because im a bit of a perfectionist and I can afford more now than I could when I bought the gun :p .

I think I'm also going to save for a DYE rotor, at the minute I'm using a magna which has caused me some problems.

Virtue board just gives you more customisability over the ROF/ramp settings, and also some other little tweaky settings. These are largely unnecessary, though, since the stock board is great and easy to use. I'm not too sure on the 2010 SLG board, but the one on the SLG UL is almost exactly the same as the boards in high end DM's. You can buy boards with OLED displays, but I'd rather put the money towards a nice, shiney, new, high-end gun than buying the bells and whistles.
:D
Lazer eyes, I have no idea. The only difference I know of is the fact that they glow. Big whoop. The proto eyes are fine.

Dye rotor is winsauce.

Lazer eyes are just a wee bit faster. IE a huge waste of money unless your current eyes break and you have to replace them anyway. I've never ever had a problem with the SLG board or eyes, neither are worth upgrading. A virtue board will cost almost as much as the gun in the first place so forget that too. Besides, new boards are only really worth it if:

- Current board isn't tournament legal (SLG is)
- Current board is fried

And yes... Dye rotor rocks :p

buy a barrel kit,and buy a cp (custom products) one if you can as they're awesome.
also remember that the slg will be just fine. if i was you i'd invest in a good hopper like a rotor as the other posts have said but i'd also recommend that you buy a nice 4500 gas tank

ive had a slg since 2008 and ive prob had every problem with the gun u can name but still a good gun. if u cant afford a barrel kit a knight stick will surfice, i use on and its just as accurate as a freak kit. An asa is a defo either the dm/nt or the ul asa will do the job plus they look nice. A metel lockin feed neck is much better than the plastic standard one. the standard board is good prob the only thing i havent replaced. ensure your gas bottle is low pressure as it helps with air efficenty and is more gentle on the gun making it less likley to blow all ur o rings. other than that little cosmetic bits lit your eye covers, their plastic so paint them its cheap and breaks the gun up. just dont use orange or pink if your a tornement player. all bits above can be brought from the mayhem paintball shop www.mayhem-paintball.co.uk oh and defo get the rotor their awsome.
hope this essay helps.
