Northern Quarter (Manchester) do a newbie day every month or so, i've been and it was great. About 20 of us newer players got training for The Firm lads and played games all day on the supair field. They'll lend out equipment (all top of the range guns as well). Next one is 23rd May.

Just an idea you could try if your brave. My friends run a Co2 only site in Canterbury and I couldnt be bothered to fill my dive bottle so I adapted my marker (Shocker NXT) to run on co2. Firstly turn all your settings down low and keep on semi. I ran my shocker via a remote line to a Co2 bottle strapped to my pack on my back so it only feed the vapour off the Co2. It should work on any marker but be mindful of O-rings wearing quicker.

I agree about not sneaking the paintballs in. I thought of it when I was new aswell, as the prices at my field are £80 a box. I just recommend getting a membership or paint deal. Best to do it the legitimate way.
