Hey there, newbie here looking for some advice. Would be much appreciated if you guys could give a shove in the right direction :)

So, I just bought myself a brand new SLG UL in Clear as Im going paintballing in a few weeks with my friends. Going to a Delta Force, just because.
However, Im not sure if Delta Force allows you to use Air systems on their grounds, and Im not sure what to do now.

I dont want to send the gun back, because I like it. Is there anyway I can modify it to use CO2, or do you think Delta Force won't mind me using my own air? If I cant modify it, but they do let me use my own air, where can I buy it from? :D

Thanks for reading, hope for some tips ;)

Wont work with Co2 but i'm sure they'd have air fill on site. I've heard of people using their own markers at Delta Force if the site manager agrees. Then again i've also heard of them not being allowed . One thing to bare in mind though, if you do end up using your own, make sure you put it in semi mode. Don't go ramping because at Delta Force prices you're bank balance will be destroyed. £120 for a case

Heh, tell me about it. I plan on sneaking my own crate of 2000 balls in though :p
Done it before, can do it again :D

What worries me though, is that the DF guns run on CO2, so I cant see them having O2 around? Or maybe they do.. Who knows? :(

Well they might not have air fills because they don't run Walk On days anymore from what i know.

As for sneaking in your own balls, don't. As much as those prices are very high, screwing over those in the paintball industry is not what we want. These sites contribute to the sport as a whole, screwing them over doesn't do anyone any good.

I see your point, never really thought of it like that before. Ill just go easy on the trigger.
You think I would be allowed to take my own big can of O2?

What you mean like a Dive Bottle to fill up your own tank? For that your gonna need...well...a dive bottle, then an adapter to fit your tank AND then theres no chance Delta Force will allow you to bring your own air filling system on to the site. Not worth the health and safety risk for them.

Tbh, my advice would be to give the site you are going to a call today, ask them if you can bring your own marker, say you intend to use it in semi auto only, ask if they can provide air fills. Simple.

Yeh its just to protect their own backs. Health and safety etc. Afterall, a HPA tank is a potential bomb :)

Best advice would be to get your mates down to a site where a local team train and watch that. Then get on the field and learn some things and learn how your marker works..

You have bought a very nice entry level tournament marker. shame to waste it :)

I was thinking of joining a team somewhere, could be good fun :D
Me and my mates will probably just go down the local woods for now, and just go wild

Anyone know of any teams around the Wirral area? Liverpool and Manchester are good too.
