I run with a Proto Rail and have not had a single maintenance issue yet whatsoever. It's a solid bit of kit which can be used for a while till you can save up the cash and then decide whether you want to commit more money into the sport. I avoided buying a second hand marker until I was a little wiser about the maintenance and repair of marker internals, didn't want a second hand marker I would spend hours on attempting to fix instead of actually playing!
Next year I will be saving up for likely an etek or something along those lines though.
