Proteus Masks Difference

A few months back I bought a Proteus mask and I was just wondering now that they have updated it whats the difference since it looks the same .

I heard a while back that it was someting to do with the ear piece that you can spin round, is this true?

Ears pieces turn and the bottom bit is flexi.

My current mask does that and has rubber bit near chin and cheeks

I think thats the only difference I noticed

New one has heads-up display reflected onto the lens, with things like target recognition and distance, and incomming paintball warning light.

as far as i know you have always been able to turn the earpiece in a proteus.

i think all of the original proteus (one of which i used to own) were recalled because the straps were falling off peoples heads and the ear gards wern't strong enough to take a hit.

so i think that has been the only change, apart from all the cosmetic upgrades such as the chemellion.

so if you have got an original proteus you may want to check up on what i posted. it may be just i rumor i heard but worth looking into!!

A recall went out on the original ones so current ones should be ok. Yes the ear peices were breaking when hit and they were falling off faces so they needed a bit of work doing.
