To drop back to the question asked about how do you tell if they are the fubar ones or not,

Look at where the starp connects to the goggle, if it joins to the goggle body and not the 'armour' thaen they are good.

The first ones (I got the first retail sale pair from WDP) had the strap just joining the 'armour' it did not connect to the goggle body at all.

As my strap dont connect to the gog frame it just goes though the mask then the mask clips into the frame
