I have been shot right in the funny bone of my arm before and it hurt so much my arm just when crazy and dropped all my paint on the floor. I would say elbows but it's not really an injury of such

For me the worst place to get shot is either the fingers or neck. Obviously the nuts is horrific too, but I haven't been shot much there!

I seem to take shots to the head a lot and not having much (read any ) hair . And they always seem to miss the mask or bounce cap I wear and give me a Bindi.

What gloves do people recommend? Full or fingerless?
Personal preference along with how much space you have in the trigger guard / how big your hands are

Personally I do like hands & fingers with nothing I the way of me feeling what I’m doing
But I also don’t like cutting my hands crawling in the undergrowth and I seriously do not like to get shot in my fingers

You’ve actually got a third option:
1 fingerless
2 full glove
3 custom cut full gloves

You can have some fingers fully covered, some cut and some with holes on the inside so you can have full cover or poke your finger out

Neck shots are nasty, infrequent but nasty.

Anywhere which hurts when you pinch it is going to sting like a motherf*cker when a ball hits you at 200mph. Inner arm, neck, inner thigh.

Finger shots hurt, I've seen broken fingers from bad dives and getting caught up in trigger guards. Worst we had on site once was a broken ankle.

Beyond that it's actually a fairly safe sport, injuries are less likely than rugby or football and statistically golf has more injuries per year than paintball. They also like to play with their balls........
