Probs with reloader on ego.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to one of the detents had a tiny split at the base but was pretty much undectable on the gun .

Reloader wise I run mine on the miidle setting with 4 batt's ,works fine.

Whats you dwell setting ? and have you done anything with the lpr settings ?

Take out detents, clean them, bend them each to left and right, you should see a split from the base if they are broken. If so replace.

Check eyes are properly clear.

Turn reloader on in quiet area EMPTY (free of paintballs) then fill.

EGO's are a bit hard on paint, but i only get the odd break, but thats with shooting on ramping all day.

And yes i have done all of the above ref detents and re loader (standard drills). And as i mentioned they were replaced. And it cant be the Lpr running to hi pressure because its working with an z boarded egg.
May just do the old trusty factory reset and start over as i cant think of anything else. Either that or use malteasers! Lol

i used a reloader b on setting 1, 6 batteries this weekend on my ego in very cold conditions and it worked a treat

dwell 8
lpr flush
lpr pressure 100psi

Used mine on setting 2, 6 batteries, 10 dwell and LPR 2 turns in and no problemos.

Thanks mate i know all guns are diff but that seems to be the standard settings for most egos around the 9.0 to 10.0 mark if the lpr is flush or around 8.0 to 9.0 if its in a couple of turns.
Though i have been thinking about this and If it works on the same principle as with most guns with Lprs shouldnt you chrono at the velocity you req then turn down the lpr till the velocity starts to drop then back it up a touch, as that would be the most efficient setting rather than flush or two turns in? Just a thought. comments!
But i will give it a go as efficiency will drop a tad but it should be a little softer at a guess. Keep um xed for me guys!
My only other option is the detection settings may be out slightly ie when the ball is seen and for how long, Still doesnt explain why it works on my egg though. Unless my re loader is doing its own thing.......may try another re loader too to see if my one is causing the probs!
As for you wanting me to get a cocker pete, i was a mag man many moons ago (5 of them in the end!) so i could never bring myself to do it! Gadge Andrews with a cocker....what a thought! Hey might actualy shoot some people if i did! lol

put ball on 1ms with a forcefeed loader i beleive is the rule

i get great efficiecny off my ego and little to no kick so i dont feel the need to go messing with the LPR. flush suits me fine
