That's pretty much what I was thinking. Solenoids aren't exactly meant to be taken apart every other use for cleaning, unless you got shot in the solenoid and paint somehow managed to creep it's way inside, there's no reason in the world to dismantle it and clean it. I've had my Angel LCD for two years, and I've never taken it apart once. Shoots like the day it was bought. A solenoid basically does the same thing as a standard autococker 4 way, just electronically controlled. Do you often dismantle the 4 way on a regular autococker? All it is is a shaft with highly greased O-rings on it, it doesn't take much maintenance.

cant say ive ever cleaned one out!

ive stripped one down just to have a look inside but i dont really see any point in stripping it down to clean it, just put a couple of drops of oil in the asa ever 4 or 5 cases of paint and that will find its way thru all the front end phnematics including the 'noid.....any paint you did clean out of it was probably only stuck around the gasket and maybe between the noid and the houseing......if it got into the noid i doubt very much the noid would work at all it would probably jam
