problem with my ion

hi got a slight problem with my ion when i shoot single shots there is a ping noise coming from inside the marker. i dont know if it happens when i am firing fast as it is to noisy. the marker still works fine but dont really want it to die on me

Its meant to make a ping noise its not broken. If u cant hear the ping noise then its broken . the only reason u cant here it when ur firing it fast is coz the trigger makes a louder noise. lol

it could be the bottle making the pinging noise , mine was doing it. but like lucas said , it could be a ion thing.

With respect, what Lucas said is nonsense. If it's the ping I'm thinking of (there may be more than one source of ping!) it's most likely to be a worn O ring allowing metal to touch metal (always assuming it's coming from the rifle and not the bottle!).

The most likely culprit is the front bolt buffer o ring - check that first, particularly if you're running a QEV. What grease are you using? Also check the bolt guide the circular disc in the fire chamber) for signs of wear.

was playing with the sp8 on sunday and everyone of them made the same ping noise he is refering to. these were all guns straight out of the box brand new and all 12 of them made the same noise, so dont worry about it mate.

no mate, u definetly cant here the chirp from the sound of the firing and u could hear the ting better from near the end of the barrel.
