Ok lads
I have spoken to wendy and had a thought what do you think on getting the same bunkers that wendy uses for the masters and then i will get the field layouts for each event 2-3 weeks prior the tournament so we can train on the field that we will be playing?
The reason i say this is that there are already 5 teams that train at the site which take part in the masters..

Let me know

hey, when i came down last week i loved the field layout, first time i'v ever played on a field like that :p
Is there loads of teams trying to use the field right now, and will there always bee expressed keen intrest? putting a second field up,ain't cheap.

Personal thoughts which i think you could improve on before you did get another field if deff the road leading up to the site, no room to park to give way to cars trying to come through the opposite way to where your coming.
Getting a level playing field - the field slopes down towards a corner, maybe u could get a big digger and have some fun with one whilst trying to level this off?
Parking spaces - when i first came people just parked wherever they felt like, perhaps just simple signs saying "parking"?
Proper crono area which is netted off? know netting costs alot of money but just a thought.
Oh, get a nice shaded shed for the compressor to go into? would look nicer then it been in that trailer

thoughts on the field... XBALL LITE :D

Well lads thanx for all the input.
I will try and list everything you have said with an answer

1. The reason for the 2nd field layout is that we are going to be running rec days at the site within the next few weeks but not on sundays as i would like to keep the rec players seperate from the supair players for now, as there is alot of expensive gear around and you never know.
The idea of this is to get new players into the world of sup'air.
2. the track leading upto the site is not actualy mine until the corner so to make laybys would not be possible as the other farmer would not agree as it would go into his field. The lane will however be repaired again soon to make it less bumpy but as we all know farm tracks are never smooth.
3.Car parking on site will be sectioned off once the 2nd field is up there will be a designated area.
The slopes on the field will be sorted the reason for these is that 2 weeks ago we made the field wider there will be new top soil going down soon.
4.There will be a pit area made and also the compressor will be away from the field and and fill stations inside the pit area. A crono area will be at 1 side of the playing field netted.
5. There will be new covererd staging areas made ample size for plenty of people to get under ready for when it rains and also to cover form the occasional sunny days we get in manchester.
and the container will have a electric wired up so the kitchen will be open all day. Also having the electric at the site will allow us to run the flood lights on the 2nd field ready for the winter months..
6. The purchase of the field is not yet decided so we will be sitting down and having a good hard think as to wat will work best but the idea has come up of having a 7 man field to get some of the old players back into the game..

i think the 2nd field would be good with any lay out in it as long as it keeps everyone happy. I like the sound me xball and the masters layouts.

Imo the track would be good once its level. But with the clearance on my car i could manage it.

I think rob has a great set up and the ideas he was sharing last week things will just get better and better. Soon we will have our own radcliffe sports park.

I'm supporting rob all the way on this

getting the layout really does sound like a great idea, for training pre masters, knowing the fields better than the opposition team is said to be one of the best things to help win, quoting from Ollie Lang´Knowing the field, is 99.9 percent of the battle` or somat along those lines haha peace guys
