Sam, you keep saying you'd invite the Stealers to play in the Pro Tour if there were spaces, what is your actual reasoning behind this? I don't know the team, all I know of them is what i've read on here (Nexus/Tigers/Stealers fun and games) and the press release from SP saying they are sponsored. What makes them a better candidate for joining the Pro Tour than say, South Coast Shake a new team that I make up out of old quake and Shockwave players?
As a player who spent all of last season working my nuts off to get into the Pro Tour it seems very unfair that anyone can just walk into a spot just because they've made a team up of players from some established pro teams. If I was totally honest I'd ask if the spots that Campaign and Jaguars have left should be taken up by the "new" team Campaign Jaguars, but that is a different situation as the team already has a spot either in the name of Jags or Campaign. You get me?
The Stealers might be the next best UK team, but I don't know that, and how are they going to prove it to me?

And now the paintballer in me comes out, I don't give a ****e, let me play paintball, if you give the spot to Dynasty or N00bs United I don't care I just wanna play so can someone PLEASE tell us whats going on! :D

This would also ensure the best team (if they played the pro tour format 7 man best of 3) went in, which is surely what the pro tour wants
You assuming the format isnt going to be M7... ;)

Thats a fair point mate. The Jags still have a spot, Campaign have joined them, and will with them in Pro Tour. You make a valid point though, that Campaign could put another team in under the Campaign banner.

TBH it makes no difference if teams are added in or not, as there are now 10 teams in the league, which works out well from a schedule point of view. It is important to keep the numbers even, so each team gets an equal number of matches a day. If you are going to be strict, then no teams should be added in as they have not earned their place. We will see what happens.
