Pro spot in the NPPL for sale, get it while it's hot, it's lovely

The purpose of the 2nd team is to give ever player on Dynasty's roster an opportunity to compete at a tournament level on a consistent basis. Players on Entourage will compete in the semi-pro division of the NPPL in 2005, with the goal of qualifying for Pro for 2006. In addition to the NPPL schedule, Entourage will compete in 2 Millenium Series events as well as fill the roster for Dynasty's Division I XBall team.

Some quotes from our Dynasty spy, Rodney Squires:
"Dynasty Entourage’s mission for 2005 will be to bring new talent into Dynasty’s fold and produce top professional athletes. The practice schedule for 2005 looks to be changing for Dynasty. Players will now be practicing mid week at a new training location yet to be determined. Dynasty’s commitment to continue being the best will hit a new gear in 2005."

So Entourage are looking to play 'semi-pro', and not take one of the top 18 spots..

Interesting indeed :)
Um, in which case this...

From Rodney of Dynasty, on the question of a Dynasty/Entourage roster split: "The players will be rotated thru both teams. There is no 'like I am on Dynasty and you're on Entourage going on here' This is all one family."

...don't make much sense, cos presumably there will be a restriction of playa movement between the Pro and semi-pro bracket...

Maybe this is a big publicity thing? It gets everyone talking about Dynasty. Hey, sounds like a good idea to me.

It doesn't sound like they plan to use the entourage team as a 2nd top 18 spot. Someone mentioned that the guys who have been playing as Dynasty will continue to do so and no mention of Entourage playing the last Mill event (to count in NPPL points). Sounds like it is a plan for late 2004 to keep around all the big names before they find other teams for 2005 willing to give them a team to play on full time. Afterall, I can't see any of them being happy just having a jersey with their name on it and receiving little to no playing time.
