iv heard that the backcap is pretty much a needed upgrade to a metal one, as the stock one's threads strip pretty easy.
Thats true, the backcap is designed to be an easy way to remove the bolt for maintenance. But all that happens after a few times removing is this:
The allen key hole goes round and you cant twist it with an allen key. The threads inside get worn down easily so all that happens is, you twist, pull it, the backcap comes off and the bolt stays inside.
The way i get it out is wrap a bit of tissue(so i dont damage anything) around a wooden spoon handle, stick it down the front and push it out the back.
Hence why i just ordered a alloy backcap from the good man above
