its a good idea, but if you put a screwdriver in the ring thats screwed into the table and twist itll be out in about 10seconds. im guessing that you'd have to install them yourself, which means that they will be even easier to get off. perhaps if they were more permenant?
possibly a better way would be to drill through the table leg and appach your gun to it that way.
but the idea is to deter the thiefs, if theres two guns sitting on the table, one locked and one unlocked (and you were in the mood to take one) you'd obviously take the unlocked one. the point im trying to make is: dont let your gun be the easiest target.
