preset pressure on tank for rat impulse

Hey people

Im about to buy a rat impulse with a 4500 maxflow reg. In the past i have used co2 but now i want n2. Thing is ACI bulldog 2 tank has preset 800 psi. Will that be too much since i cant adjust it? Or will the max flow fix all that.

just screw in your preset and then adjust the preassure down to about 180psi using the max flow and all will be fine..

erm, doesnt a 4500 maxflow let you screw a tank straight on it without the need for a primary reg?

Max Flo's don't use preset tanks. You could remove the tank from the bulldog reg, and then screw it on to the Max Flo, but I don't think they're threaded for preset regs.

Sorry i didnt read the post correctly, If you are using a 4500psi maxflow all you will need to do is tank the tank of the preset and put it onto the maxflow then set the maxflow to 180psi..

its just a regular tank i shouldnt have to unscrew anything right?

If you have a preset bulldog "tank" you're actually referring to the tank, and the preset regulator. You need to remove the bottle (tank) from the preset regulator, and put it on the max flo regulator.
