Predictions for the New Year '03

Here's your chance, kids. Tell Uncle Baca what the new year will bring in the world of pball. Will Super 7 be a smash hit? Will any Euros be playin' X? Will they ever win? What new marker will take the scene by storm? Teams on the rise or the decline? You name it, let's hear it.
Predict early, predict often. The more stuff you throw out the greater your chances of blindly stumbling into a seemingly brilliant prediction.
I, of course, will wait until you are all finished to include my predictions as otherwise there wouldn't be any point to your posting.

It's like deja vu all over again...

Worldwide: Most of the big boys to play X-Ball and NPPL, Strange to dominate.

Tech-wise: E-Blade will blow everybody's minds and WGP will attract a lot of teams back to the fold.

UK-Wise: Twisted, Kellys and K2 to rattle some Millennium cages

Magazine-wise: At least two pball mags to die before '03 is out.

World-wise: Team Monkey Love erupt on the scene, only to disappear under a hail of lawsuits from Brazil
Tech-wise: Splatmasters make a comeback with an Electro-trigger version
Uk-wise: Paintball makes it into the mainstream and David Beckham forms an all-conquering team
Magazine-wise: PGI is taken over by Hustler
Forum-wise: Mandatory Drug-testing is required on all Forums due to inane postings
Monkey-wise: You LOVE ma Monkey

World-wise: Millennium-series 2003 will be the main event...

X-Ball: will be a flop. Budweiser starts to be the main sponsor, but somehow PSP will prohibit because they sell alcohol.

Still somehow the europeans will dominate X-Ball.

Tech-wise: Self targeting paint.

State-side: X-ball will become a regular feature on ESPN7, Wednesday nights at 3:00 AM, just after Orlando Wilson's brown-water fishing program and just before Martha-Lou's rhododendrems anonymous.

Tech-wise: WDP will release a new brain-wave activated trigger system on a new marker called IRGod. (Will flop quickly due to lack of output signals among players. JR goes back to the lab to work on fart-activated trigger.)
