Well out of interest, how much would it cost to ship that lot to the UK? :D

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the kind of thing I can claim to be a "gift" or "sample" next time I come thru customs... :(

Act of contrition? Hmmm, OK, here's one - pay for an ad and get a nice shiny banner and all the info you could desire on this site!

duffistuta -

if you buy a set, that's where I'll put the profit - how about that?

shipping is not nearly as big an issue as it would be for vinyl - the panels are surprisingly light - about a pound each.

import taxes? well - the first person to order overseas from each country will have them sent out as 'samples' - so there's an added savings for the early birds...

Well, ignoring the legality of that last remark for a moment, our lovely customs still charge us duty on "samples" over the value of about £30 I think. And if you mark it as £30 (unlikely, as it'll be a huge package) then the insurance won't cover it if it gets lost/damaged. :(

It's a nice plan EZB, but not as good as 'you advertise, get loads of orders, retire to Aruba'.

Works every time. Trust me.

aruba sounds nice - but I was thinking more along the lines of new zealand...

I didn't ignore the legality; I simply noted that there would be an 'added' savings.

I'm sensing a little hostility here; obviously at least some of it is my fault - due to both the original posting and probably at least in part to my bad attempts at humorous responses. I'll formally apologize once again and request that we move on from this point: I'll respond seriously to honest questions and comment appropriately on reasonable critiques from now on.

I'm aware that this is mostly a home for Euro players and that ordering into europe has additional costs. The primary reason that I posted here is that it happens to be amongst the most popular forums - in the top 3 (and occupying anyone of those three positions alternately with the other two), with a lot of tournament players as well, which is one of our target markets.

Picking up a european distributor will solve a lot of the additional cost issues, so if anyone here is interested, please let me know.

I'll save a spot on the beach in aruba for you...
