You also have to bear in mind that harder paint is needed for rental compared to tournament play due to the hammering it goes through - guns that are harder on the paint, customers shaking their guns/loaders like mad to get the paint to drop, customers dropping guns or rolling around like Rambo. If the paint used at rental sites was as fragile as that used for tournament or even walk-on, there would be so many breaks that the poor old refs would spend most of their time cleaning the inside of the barrels/loaders, and the customers would miss lots of play due to the breaks.
Now that i aggree with and i am a marshal and it always pays to keep the customer playing.
