Fat Boy pods and Redz pods have worked the best for me and my teammates. I would recommend a set of either of those pods.

2 simple and effective ways of preventing this withough spending money.
If you have a pack with one tops to the pouch (like jacko) just put your pots in so the lids are up. I actualyl find it easier to pull the pots out up as a) you do it in one movement, not one to open a flap and another to pull teh pod out b) when you are kneeling you don't have to lean forward. to get the pod out from under your a$$.
Other alternative to hold the lid down with about a 3cm strip of electrical tape, one of our guys does that and he seems pleased so presume it works.

KillerOnion: Had same prob, but now i place the pods in a way that when i reach 4 em, i pull it by the hinge, not the lid opener.
I've VL pods, and the locking of the lid looks ok. Maybe just my sliding style sucks (hit the dirt so fast, my upper body tilts back somewhat)
I'll try and modify my pack. If not, i'll go 4 a horizontal pack.
