Pmr or Ion???

I would say get the PMR with UL frame, that is a great gun, you cant really compare the ION and PMR as the PMR is a better gun

just got a PMR and ive got to say its a good starter marker, easy to maintane. pay an extra 20quid and get the UL frame. DON'T GET AN ION!

if you are on a budget fella, SLG, cos' for the money you would pay for a PMR could get you an SLG and a good hopper to boot. That's assuming that the SLG is worth it's salt, I wouldn't know.

Can you describe what problems they were having specifically? Dont forget all the cold weather advice that you can find here:

If they were not cycling properly, it could simply be that the LPR was set too low. If they were breaking paint (and it was not simply bad paint/too brittle for the cold) then it could be that the LPR was set too high.

I personally go with a PMR and change the trigger if you can.(Hate the stock trigger although my friends like it)
