Also have you changed any board settings? I think on PMR's the dwell should be about 25.

25 - you kidding me - thats factory settings - mine guzzles gas as it is and i have mine on 18 and it works fantasticly - but yeah if you have fiddled change it back to factory settings - all of these settings can be found in your manual
