PM6: Rattling Frame?

Hi guys,

I noticed that my PM6 frame was rattling slightly, so whilst holding the body to the frame I took an allen key and tightened both frame screws. This seems OK for a bit, but after some use it begins rattling again - Not enough to be a big problem, just a little annoying.

What is likely to be the problem here? I don't want to overtighten the frame screws in fear of stripping the thread.

Any help appreciated,

-Will

Thanks for the advice so far. The frame is only moving side to side (not actually coming away from the body, leaving a gap) and it isn't snagging on any wires. Where do you recommend putting PTFE tape? I don't particularly want to use loctite, as I want to be able to remove the frame every now and then.

Cheers,

-Will

Now for a non-thread locking adhesive:

Loctite 290 Wicking Grade
Color: ?
Strength: Enough to hold your bolt in place
Can Be Removed With: Hand-Tools
Reccomendations: To use after adjusting a screw or bolt; but you dont want to lock it there, just keep it from moving from its proper place. Its thin, and can be drizzled down the hole the bolt is in, and get between the threads; leaving enough
strength to keep everything in place.

Yup, just a smidgen of blue on the tip of the thread before assembly and don't over tighten, then give it half an hour to cure and you're good to go. You can still remove it easily with an allen key but no more rattles:)
