To be truthfull...I wouldnt worry about efficiency too much...unless your a back player, flinging 1500 rounds a game.
As long as you remember to top up between games your sorted.
The thing to strive for is consistency.
This will come in two ways;
Paint to barrel match, make sure your paint is a good fit for maximum use of teh air available.
On gun efficiency, gained from having a good Regulator (Hyper 2 you have is great, Evolve Pi would be better)...and setting your gun up correctly, with Input Pressure, LPR and Dwell.
The plus factors are this:
Consistency = Accuracy...if the paint fits teh barrel teh same everytime, and teh blast of air behind it is teh same every time, your velocity, will be the same, everytime, which menas your paint will group into a smaller circle, everytime.
You can run as close to the Velocity limit as you dare.
If teh limit is 280 Fps...and your gun is inconsistent, ranging from 260-291...you wll have to set your gun low...so that it ranged from 250-279, for example...which means you have the disadvantage of decreased range, which means more bounces at long range...BAD!
If your gun puts out 275, 275, 276, 275...you can run it at that and not really have to worry that you will get penalised for a hot gun..GOOD!
Always check your velocity through teh day though...usually after filling up...as it can vary with temperature, weather conditions etc.
