PM5 replacement?

im thinking about upgrading my PM5 to something slightly newer, or smaller. i have £450 to spend, and im thinking about a PM7, Mini, or Shocker sft, preferably new. i don't play that often, due to various other things, which of the above markers has the best value for money? does anyone know where i can buy a new shcoker sft, or know approximately how much they are, i can't find any websites with them. i won't be able to try them before i buy either. do any of those markers out perform the PM5, or are they just smaller and lighter? i would prefer to stick with proto, but if one of the other two markers is better and cheaper i would go or that, because i need the cash to play, and buy some upgrades for my bike.
Why not just put an Ultralite frame on the PM5?

I never said that they weren't but what is wrong with an ego?
Some people just don't like the feel of Ego's, including myself. Putting an UL frame on your PM5 would make it a fair bit lighter, but still not a contender with some of the newer markers and it would still be just as big (and you'd be £150 down). I upgraded from a PM5 to a PM6 which was considerably lighter and smaller, although having just got a Mini I'm tempted to make this my main marker.

If you sold your PM5 to get a Mini, it would cost you no more than £100. Again, it depends on the feel - Maybe try someones Mini out at a nearby site.

Why not? Every single ego is a great well made bit of kit.
Its personal preference mate, you may not like the size, shape, performance, any of these can make you change your mind about a marker, yes ego7's are a well made peice of kit, but then so are Dm7's, and shockers, and... you get me.
