Please sign the Petition to make Paintball an Olympic Sport

I Love The Fun Police
After having just seen 14 hours of coverage of synchronized swimming and rythmic gymnastics, I signed the petition just on the random hope that some day more than half of the Olympic games would actually be relevent. Seriously who really cares about curling? (yes I know thats a winter sport, I still hate it) Actually, what does it say about me that I watched 14 hours of swimming and gymnastics? Maybe I shouldn't post this.....oops too late.

Sorry to say it but paintball will never be an olympic sport. It has less recognition than loads of minorty sports like skateboarding, bmx etc and surely neither of these are even close to qualifying.

The push should be to have it recognised as a sport at all. Lets worry about being represented at the olympics later.

As an aside, how many teams, even pro teams would be willng to be subject to the doping rules?

I really do wonder whether presenting anyone with a petition like this will do more harm than good - it aims way to high.

Sorry - just my opinion. :(

i agree you are more likely to see skateboarding at the Olympics. The amount of ppl you would have to get to sign for any one to take notice would be astronomic feel it would be a better idea to go down the same road as toulse with the bomer games.

X games are much more likely to accept paintball than main stream events like the Olympics but every one needs a dream.

Totally agree with you. The thing that got me most tho, was turning on the tv last night and seeing trampolining as an olympic sport.  Something isnt quite right about that!!!

So chances are, paintballin has got every chance of being an olympic sport. Its far more 'sporty' than some of the other olympic 'sports' you see nowadays.
