Wow, that fish appears to be escaping it's kettle!
Having re-read my original message, ain't I the whinging jessie?! But you try movin furniture with a dead arm!
But seriously, I was having a mega-un-lucky day, as this didn't appear to happen to any other player, on bugout or otherwise that I noticed.
In the vast majority of games it was only a couple of shot, which could be put down to the odd bad ball, but in a couple of games there was a definate element of keep shooting till he's left the field. This also may have been down to bad paint, and the old keep shooting till I see a burst mindset may have kicked in. Whatever.
Anyways, at the end of the week, with only a blue and yellow shoulder to remind me (I even got all movement back now!)
I aint as peeved anymore.
Mark - as for the Milhouse game, I got two, square in the back, just as I stepped out of the tape. I'm not implying these were deliberate, I got done on the break, so there is every probability that a tape player broke out, looked up, saw a target, and before registering I was out, snapped off a couple. I've done it plenty, it's just my snap shooting isn't good enough to get my first shots on target!
At the end of the day, it was just the culmination of a couple of accidental hits each game, plus a couple of games where I got lit up royaly (and I'm buggered if I can remember who that was against - I normally take no notice of who we are playing), and an aching shoulder. I have no probs with any peeps out there, and will have to rememebr to smack the players who got us the reputation of pulling walks (neither of them were there on Sunday). The last walk I pulled was playing pump!
Either that or stay down untill the paint in the air has passed over me, then get up?
Anyways, as ever, no offence meant, and see y'all at Crystal Palace.
