you will a timmer for example wud probs lose to a pro with a pistol!

use the spyder get the upgardes get into the sport and get good then get a new marker if you want to carry on and progress
You've never fired a pistol then mate........... a four year old child with a Timmy would beat a pro with a pistol.
Kit doesn't make the player, but you need to be comparable.. a pro with an inferno would take me with my Timmy every time, but if he had a pistol he wouldn't get past his 10,
Having said that, you can have walk on fun with anything.......... I played most of Staar waars with a sling and paint bombs :)

I play front alot, i like to sneak up and surrender(no shooting within 10 feet rule) players. Ive been eyeing the 32 degrees delta .68 pistol and have some questions.(And if it matters, I play in a indoor field with those blow up bunkers)

Can a pistol be good by itself(meaning playing w/ just the pistol)?
Only for fun....... no good in a tourney.

Do you have to cock the gun after everyshot?
Not with PT or zeus........ semi auto

How many shots can you get off with a 12 gram co2?
Anything from 10 to 20, usualy none with the PT as it vents the gas and the seals fail :)
Which (in your own opinion) is the best pistol out there?
The zeus, if you had to have one.

And finally, Do you think a pistol (for standalone or with rifle)would be good for me based on the info above?
Nope, just stick with your current marker and build up gradualy....pistols are a bit of fun, but you could get a nice barrel/hopper for you spyder with the cash

Thanks in advance!

If you're not playing Tourneys, it can be fun to have a pistol with you to whip out at short notice(!) or when your gas goes down... (Mine did this weekend and I used a Supasplat kiddies paintball pistol to take out the flag runner....or maybe that was the guy firing the impy from the window??....nahhh, sure it was my pistol!)

But in tournaments you can't use a sidearm and in recball don't put your gat down for a pistol. As in live gunfights...There's no point, their range is too limited. And though i've never used a proper 12gram pistol i've never heard great things about them.

Also what le-pig isn't telling you is that after this player took out four guys the springloader snapped forward into the remainder of the balls in the tube and crushed them all, turning it into a soupfest :p

I agree with Superfly, stick with your imagine for now...learn the game with it, Spyders are versatile markers and can get into the pond with the big boys, even if they do stay in the shallow end. Then when you think you've progressed, move up the spectrum and pick up something a bit more suited to the level your at in your game.
