ok don't quote me on this but i don't think you HAVE to get rid of the x chamber if you go to air(if i'm wrong then someone please correct me) however it won't geve you any benefit over a standard gas thru grip

well in any case most people use a regulater on N2 and air so if you convert over buy a regulater and to solve the bore matches.... buy a freak.

To answer the above question, nitrogen will simplify your life with your existing gun because it imparts considerably less wear on orings and seals. For figuring out the paint and barrel situation, just try around a bit and see what turns out the best for you. Local batches of various paints vary from place to place, as well as what you can get the best price on. Experimentation and listening around are the means of going about such.

"LP system" is really a poor descriptive term. What people usually are implying by such is a combination of a higher flow valve and bolt, often a volumizer too, and low pressure springs to produce the right velocity. The good that such does is measurable but unimportant on most guns, and isn't really all that cost effective for the benefits received. Cockers are really the only guns that such is practical with, as a piranha or similar can be enhanced but at a cost of half to nearly 100% of the price of the gun, which upon resale would not likely be regained. In short, for anything but a Cocker it's a poor investment.

HPA or high pressure air is another term for a nitrogen tank, as it can be filled with compressed air from a scuba tank or directly from a compressor, which is functionally the same as filling it off a tank of pure nitrogen.
