ive got a sts g3 and i love it. But if you have the money go ahead and upgrade to a cocker because they are really tight. Only upgrade to the cocker , though if you are really dedicated and are going to play a lot to make it worth your while.

yes i agree with u but a walmart gun cant compete with an angel. but what im doing is and still doing is learning as much about autcockers as i can so that after this summer i can buy one and that that gun may very well be the last gun i buy but instead buy tones of upgrades for it. but once you learn about the gun u gotta learn how the gun reacts how it works and how to use it to your advantage

alright mate. if you go to nitro then you'll need to ditch the x-chamber and yes you can stick back on your gas through foregrip.
the main advantage of nitro is that it's a much cleaner and more consistent gas. co2 can screw up a set of seals in your gun in no time at all. thats cos co2 starts at a liquid at the pressures your running at then goes to a gas. that causes it to chill down, it can freeze up seals and generally cause some damage.
nitro on the other hand is a gas at those pressures so you have no problem with freezing down, thus your marker will be more reliable and you'll have to change seals way less often.
also nitro will put out a more consistent pressure so you can run your gun closer to the 300fps limit without worrying about it shooting hot.
basically nitro is a brilliant gas for paintball guns and co2 is what you have to use if you can't afford nitro.
easiest way to get shooting nitro is to buy a cheap screw in system. works just as well as the all singing versions but there are less twiddley bits to play with.

hope that helps you a bit

p.s. nothing will give you better accuracy other than a good quality paint and good paint to barrel match.

Accuracy

Don't want to start a huge "accuracy" discusion, but...

a Nitro tank and reg will increase the velocity consistency which will in turn result in increased "up/down" accuracy. But yes paint/barrel match is the only way to improve left/right accuracy.

Pirhana's are nice markers, I have only used a site marker version on Air, and while not top flite, I have never had one stop working except as a result of low gas. I played with it at Series 2001 tournaments, and while is had many problems (low accuracy, rof etc) many of them will not be a feature of a top end Pirahna model. They are so reliable that it is the marker I am plannign to get as my backup (when I have enough money...) .I own a cocker now (which I bought second hand) and I have had all sorts of problems with it (though I believe that all of that is fixed) and it is sweet so a cocler is a good marker to upgrade to, but to be honest a decent pirhana with a good set of barrels etc should serve you very well.

So I agree with KO, stick with the Pirhana, after all you can hang onto the Air system when you upgrade (so you may consider getting a better one on the grounds that you won't need to buy one for your next marker). And of ourse you may consider hanging onto the Pirhana as a backup should you ever have a problem (not that a new cocker should give you problems, its just that 10 seconds from game on and your marker isn't working for some reason sucks, just picking up a backup and playing makes life a LOT easier).

Richard

P.s. apologies for the many wrong spelling of Pirhana above, I don't really know how its spelt and can't really be bothered to check/change them all.

Slightly off the point but...

Um, I think that that's the wrong way round, you get the paint and match the barrel that fits the bore the best. So the answer is; it depends on how big the bores of the barrels are.

As a guide, if they are big bore then often the cheaper paint (Midnight, Blaze that kinda thing) but if they are tighter then more expensive paint. This may however be completely wrong (for which I apologise).
