The Piranha offers the same performance and is a lot cheaper at times, doesn't have that stupid offset bottomline screw pattern (Which Kingman should be hung up by holes drilled through their big toes for.), and is indeed as you say a little lighter. Best gun to upgrade? My answer to that is either build a gun from the ground up with everything you want on it, or buy a gun that is the way you want it and don't spend any money upgrading it at all. "Upgrades" these days are either "Hey it'll look maybe 5% better but we'll tell you it's 100% better and take your money and you look like an idiot and we'll go out to lunch and laugh at you " OR "This is the way it should have been done from the start but the designers of your gun were too lazy to think of this...and of course we'll gladly charge you 300% for a hole drilled here and there."
In short, don't fall into the scams and upgrade trails that drain your wallet when you should be using the money on practice paint and concentrating on what's in front of you rather than what's in your hand.
