your point is....

i dont know how exactly to put this....

well if all paint stains but its not visible.. whats the problem?
if u cant see it, there is no problem?

but when pink stains, you can see it so there is a problem

Listen.......... all of this anecdotal evidence is really getting in the way of the discussion.........
"I got pink stains........so pink paint stains"
"My goggles didn't stain yellow.........you are talking bollox"
"I have white stains......white paint stains"
This is all crap...........I got meningitis three years back.....I was a bit sick, but I got better in two days......therefore, everyone who is disabled or has been killed by it, is a liar"

See what I mean? look at the big picture...... most of the complaints are about pink paint, crystal palace have a problem with pink paint, lots of teams are sick of pink paint stains......... yes, other paints stain, but look at the bulk of the complaints..........it's all about pink paint.
So stop using it........ we always had a choice from our sponsors....... are there any manufacturers that only make pink? just ask for yellow or orange, no demand......... stop making it.

"THIS IS BOLLOX
i accidently left a yellow splat on my gogs over night it came off like pie?"

think he was on about the other side, the anti fog layer stains easy, like under the edge where it accumilates.

com, think most colours of paint, if left long enough leave a white stain, think its the metal in the paint.

....and without pink paint, there would be no "oooooh, cycloptic optic, and he takes the pink lemonade" (like nppl commentating.)

No, it's not "bollox", it's one person's experience. Perhaps I was overly broad in saying "any paint". I should have clarified thusly:

"In my personal experience I have seen many tournament-grade paints stain goggle lenses if left on for an extended period of time. I have lenses that have yellow, orange, green and, yes, pink stains - not from being left on overnight but from the course of one game. I have not had this problem with field/rec paint."

Better?

If you think it's "bollox" let me know and I'll send you pictures of the lenses.

And my point was the pink colored stain has a higher vibrancy than other colored stains - it's more readily visible on clothing and skin than other colors. I have clothes with orange and yellow stains, they just don't stand out as much.

You know what, Jose has the best point of view - if you think pink paint stains too much don't use it. Maybe that will send a message to the manufacturers.

Pink Paint ROCKS!!

Doesn't bother me personally. Had a few small stains, they come off eventually. So what. Don't get shot so much.

So the manufacturers stop making the most effective paint they have, ok, they turn to orange, another bright and effective colour. Oh no, what's that you say? The orange stains now?? Ok, we'll do a nice bright green.....pardon me? What's that? The green stains now?? er....blue? yellow?

I think the bigger picture here is that whatever the chemicals used to make certain colours BRIGHT and more potent seems to give them a slightly more lasting mark, which in my view is much better than using a paint that runs off like water as soon as it hits. It aint so much to do with one colour in particular. Perhaps the manufacturers need to dilute the mixture slightly or change the chemical balance to reduce the lasting effect SLIGHTLY to please the masses.

Good job if you ask me. :D
