cookies are stored in your temporary internet files directory, windows won't delete them automatically, you have to do that manually.
Are you connecting from home or work, cause if you are at work the network administrator may have limited your ability to send, or upload data to the net.

Actually, only some of your cookies are stored in your temporary internet files folder (if you're running windows). There is a separate folder called "cookies" and if you empty that, that gets rid of all of them.

BTW,

All your temp internet files and cookies, and basically anything else you delete can be recovered quite easily unless you use privacy software, so deleting your cookies and temp internet files may not be the most surefire way of keeping your mum from discovering your extra-cirricular activity

Go to "my computer" go to whatever drive you have windows on, most likely "drive C" go to the folder "windows" go to the folder "cookies" and delete everything in the folder. Then go to the folder "temporary internet files" and delete everything in there too. That's all the cookies on your system.

well guess what iv tryed to delete my cookies and it got to the last one and my moms software (solorsoft's new AI software)stoped me from deleteing the last one, but anyways thats not problem (at least thats what i think) because it wasn't a cookie related to the internet (it doesn't have any thing like the other million cookies had like www. or @ in the text below it says index.dat) so now iv tried everything except a different cpu so ill have to do while at cousins.

if that dont work im going to be pretty PO'd as i am now

You could try running privacy software, and then reinstalling windows.
