Apoc will have pics up by the weekend, and the fat hairy bugger taking pics was Chris. Not part of Apoc but a mate whos takes funky photos and is branching out!

Only real problem was the light, but the good uns will be up this weekend and expect to see him at any tourny apoc attends :)

The paintballphotos guys weren't there at the weekend. I gather they are even thinking of giving it up completely, as everyone wants to look at the photos on-line, but hardly anyone seems willing to actually pay for any so they lost an awful lot of money last season.
Then perhaps they should look at it in a different way, the Indoor was a two day event and had they taken pics on the 1st day and had them on a table to be bought all printed up they would recoup some costs that way..I know you say they weren't at the event but then this idea would allow some returns had they attended. Take the M25 event they could have taken pics at leg 1 and had them printed for leg 2 and then put them online after leg 2. It would be a shame if they were to stop doing the events but they do have to eat. Cleo does a lot of picture taking at the PSP events and you don't see the results online, only at the events and she doesn't appear to be going bust anytime soon.

The problem with copy discs is copyright.
I know Chris is looking at getting a little more geared up for this season, With photos being downloaded into laptop then stuck up on the projector for all to see.
Then hopefully u can see and order your pics there and then and hard copy comes through within the week :)

Got a sneak preview today, and he has some top ones in there, and enough of them to cover just about every team that played this weekend. Will be going up on web site hopefully Friday night.

Hoping he gets a good response as although he is happy to do it for Apoc, making it worth his while for you other ugly buggers would help him out a lot! And as he pointed out today, ballers are vain buggers!!!!!

i agree with what mark has said, only like famine said we are vain buggers so the more close up action shots there are the better for instance that woman who does campaign each year she takes some superb pics of the whole team especially the break outs and real close up action shots have had a couple of good ones off her in the last couple of campaign's.

what i'm saying liz is that it seems u know these guys so how about running this idea past them and using dartford 7's as a tester we get to see pics at a stand at the second leg.

just remind them lots of close up action shots and team photo's after games always a good idea also.

is just an idea and not even sure if u know the guys that well but what the hell you don't get if u dont ask do you.
:D ;) :p :D ;) :p

Sorry

What I ment was that if the guys from PaintballPhotos.co.uk are not getting much response to their site they should look into going to the Tournys with a PC/Laptop, take their pictures of the games, load them onto the PC under each Teams name. Wipe the memory card, out for the next game. The Teams can then decide to buy the Pictures on Disc there and then.

There was a guy doing exactly that at the ZEAO last year and he was making a packet. We bought ours, 120 Pics on Cd cost approx 70/80 Quid and all it cost him was a Recordable CD!

Hmmmm....maybe I should start doing this meself!:D

Hi

To be honest paintballphotos wise will still live on during 2004 when we get time. I have offered my services to PBUK again this year and when at tournaments i will be concentrating my time on getting shots for the magazine rather than paintballphotos.co.uk. That's not to say that what is not used wont go up on the site.

Event photos is aways a difficult one and we could do it differently but last year our only costs were travel and time.

Motorsport is my main focus and we fitted in paintball last year around the BTCC and other events in the uk and abroad.

Looking at helping PBUK at Darford 7 as its close to one of the guys and we have Toulouse booked in again this year.

Regards
Chris
