The Publishing house (Aceville Publications) return my subscription via my credit card the other day. No covering letter but it's for sure, it's dead.....

btw any other good magazines still going then? And won't this shutdown mean this forum will probably be closed?

No, the website and forums will stay open. They are now under ownership of Pete Robinson (Robbo) and this website will remain the spider in the web of UK ball and will also strive to grow and promote paintball.

PBUK is another mag that I know of and I've heard nowt from the publishers regarding my subscription

I believe PBUK is under new ownership. This a fairly recent change. With the demise of PGI perhaps this could be a good opportunity for a decent UK led magazine...

I received the letter today, dated 24th September (2nd class post, a 3rd world service?) it says that I have had a refund, but not how, I'm guessing I subscribed by card but can't remember which one!

Don't you go and worry yourself about formalities such as manners or etiquette mate, I mean, far be it fro me to suggest a more considerate tone would have been maybe a bit more appropriate than 'where's my money'?

PGi, was the most respected magazine in paintball, and for good reason, I doubt somehow we will let the ball drop when it comes to giving people their money back.
But don't let any of that deter you jumbaleo, you go for it Shylock !!

Got my letter letter this morning confirming my refund. I would much rather be getting my magazine every month but what a warming feeling to actually receive something back without even questioning it.

It just goes to show that you should put, & keep, your faith with those most respected in the paintball industry.

Thank you to all those involved with producing the best magazine ever & to those that are keeping our forum open & running so at least we can keep up to date here.

Hoping that one day all returns again, I wish all people effected all the very best for the future.

i got a letter saying i should have had a refund, which i havent received. it was only for about £2.65 like so im not too fussed.

Shame the mag is gone, especially seen as its been running for so long. was really a really high quality magazine that was really well put together.
