See, Ive just gone to find the stuff online, but its all disapeared, I swear that it was something along the lines of Asus has a subsidery company, which then brought Abit.
As for ebay, I don't trust anything off there because of previous scandals with fake hardware being sold there by legitimate companies!
Do you mean fake like unlicensed copies of reference boards?
Or actually not the item advertised?
I know what standards are required to acheive Ebay power seller status and its quite valuable to risk it doing dodgy deals.
Both ebay and paypal highly favour the buyer.
So the seller has to work ten times harder than a non ebay site to do the same business.
Typically the standard of service for NIB items is better on ebay than anywhere else online. Prices are alot more competitive.
Just make sure they have good feedback.

I'm getting worried about these Gigabyte boards now. Although I don't put bloat-ware on them, so they seem pretty stable for test beds. I use embedded RISC stuff for production (a bit like John C - but no where near as good ).
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NOV-95GT1 good graphics card, the 9500gt series, its got a good amount of memory etc. i reccomend you upgrade to a minimum of 2.6ghz dual core but if you've got the money make it a quad core and go for a 9800GT for a gpu. love this website (www.novatech.co.uk) mostly cheap and good service. can't say i know too much though
stokecity, i can run DOW2 at full spec, and i have a phenom 9550 quad 2.2ghz, 4gb ram, geforce 9600gt and running vista 32 bit. Only cost me about £350.
Except theres a bug in the game that causes it to frequently crash at full spec anyway.
