If you cast your mind back to when Hatts announced the mag's launch, some of the pgi staffers - myself included - said that it's not an easy job, that brit paintball has limited funds and that we thought they'd be very lucky to keep a monthly uk mag going. I think at the time we got slagged for those comments cos it was all doom and gloom, and we were worried about the competition or we were being plain nasty, or we didn't know what the f we were talking about. Well, we do have a bit of knowledge, and we know that Hatts' job was particularly daunting. Hopefully it'll get back on line and carry on producing good issues - but, maybe a move to bi-monthly may help?
PGI is fortunate to have a bigger publishing company behind it - when the going was tough it was bailed out by other mags. However, if PBUK got in trouble, the publishers have to decide whether to remortgage their house, or back off. What would you guys do?
