but yeah, there was like 7 episodes then they just cancelled it; was fun whilst it lasted :p
From http://web.channel4.com/4later/collective/faq.html, at the bottom:
What happend to X-Fire? How can I enter a team for the next series? ?

We decided, during conflict in Afghanistan, that it was not the best time for viewers to enjoy the X-Fire series. Consequently the show transmitted on October 23rd 2001 was the last broadcast in 2001. Series 1 is now back on your screens on Wednesdays. channel4.com/xfire
The conflict in Afghanistan even affected paintball, damn wars. :(

ahhh paintball on the TV, heres a one for you then...

Does anyone remember 'blood, sweat and paintballs'? It was a one off half hour show produced and shown on Bravo. It was hosted (and produced I believe) by Jason Bradbury (The bald fella who always ends up hosting Gadget shows for channel 5). If I remember rightly he ended up entering a series event with a Bravo team made up of guests. I also remember him ranting on about the Angel LCD (brand new at the time) and its ability to be hooked up to a comp and have its settings altered via this way.

Anyone?

I had it taped to VHS for ages, before I could get my hands on any form of paintball media that didnt look cack this was like solid gold!
